Sales Development Representative

At Doctivity, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That is why we’re seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, use sophisticated CRMs to target prospects, excel at researching leads, start new relationships, and set our sales closers up for success.

Objectives of this role:

  • Sourcing new sales prospects and reaching out to them to book appointments for product demonstrations.
  • Reaching out to leads captured and nurtured by the marketing team to book demonstrations.
  • Providing feedback to the marketing team regarding the quality of marketing-sourced leads.
  • Clearly communicating Doctivity’s value propositions to prospects and learning about their needs to see if there is a good fit.
  • Developing the knowledge and confidence to deliver introductory demonstrations of the Doctivity platform and support the team throughout the sales process. 
  • Supporting the Director of Sales Operations and taking a day-to-day direction on strategy, progress, and metric tracking.
  • Representing our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solution meets needs.
  • Generating leads and building relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets.
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects and engaging sales executives for next steps.
  • Hitting assigned monthly goals is a must.
  • Identifying best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
  • Representing Doctivity at conferences and trade shows, ensuring sales activities are successful
  • Coordinating conference strategies, schedules, marketing, conference booth work, and details associated with attending.

      Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a multi-channel approach including our CRM, cold calling, email, and LinkedIn to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Adhere to a regular cadence of communication with prospective accounts.
  • Identify the prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify as sales opportunities.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and the sales leader.
  • Report to the Director of Sales Operations with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
  • Leverage AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, summarize meetings, and improve productivity while maintaining high-quality communication.
  • Research target health systems, physician groups, payers, and specialty organizations. 
  • Identify executive stakeholders and buying committees.

       Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years of sales experience in the healthcare or health technology space with a history of exceeding lead targets
  • Strong communication skills via multi-channel prospecting: phone, in-person, email, LinkedIn, etc. 
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or other CRM software
  • Prior experience as a sales development representative with a track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Ability to travel is required
