Position Overview
We're looking for a forward-thinking, self-starting, team player Sales Director to lead new business efforts, elevate our sales strategy, and unlock growth opportunities. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership without needing prompting, and is constantly thinking one step ahead—whether that's re-engineering the sales process or refreshing sales decks with current ROI use cases from our latest reports.
This role is for someone who understands that success is dependent on getting the right people in the room. Once you're in front of the decision-maker, our product speaks for itself. Your job is to make those conversations happen—consistently, quickly educating other key stakeholders to get to the yes faster.
What You’ll Do
Develop & Execute Sales Strategy – Own the sales process from lead generation through close, with a strong focus on building pipeline and accelerating deals.
Lead & Inspire – Working with a high functioning management team and SDRs.
Own the Messaging – Proactively update and refine sales materials, pitch decks, and ROI visuals that tell the story of how our tech and customer success program delivers real results.
Be Proactive – Don’t wait for direction to continually engage with prospects in the pipeline through Zoom meetings, phone calls, email and in person meetings.
Engage Our Advisory Board – Establish regular, high-value communication with advisory board members. Keep them informed, inspired, and equipped to evangelize our solution without needing to be asked. You will need to build solid relationships with this high functioning and nationally renowned group of healthcare experts.
Collaborate Across Teams – Work hand-in-hand with marketing, product, and leadership to align strategy and ensure we're telling a consistent, compelling story in the market.
Own Your Metrics – Deliver accurate forecasts, manage your team’s KPIs, and use insights to continuously improve.
Face of Doctivity at Conferences – Lead conference sales strategy and exhibiting tactical plan.
What You Bring
7+ years of sales experience, ideally in SaaS or healthcare provider, payer or technology; 3+ years in a sales leadership role.
Proven ability to close deals and exceed targets in a complex, consultative sales environment.
Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, especially how provider organizations make technology decisions.
Creative thinking and high initiative—you spot opportunities and go after them.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
CRM tools hubspot, sales automation, or growth marketing tactics.
Travel is a must.
Bachelor’s degree required
